Gary and I were out running errands this morning when we received the call saying Kristy's car was ready to be picked up. I contacted Kristy and we set a plan for us to meet in Fallbrook. She had to wait until Jennifer's bus drops her off first. We were a little early so I had Gary drop me off at the repair shop to pay for the repairs while he drives to the restaurant to wait for Kristy and Jennifer to arrive. I'm happy to have my car back and Kristy is happy to have hers repaired and back as well. Hopefully, these repairs will last a long time. New gaskets, new timing belt, new spark plugs, new belts and hoses along with a lot of other stuff should hold her for awhile. She still needs new CV boots but that will have to wait until she saves up some more money. Brakes will probably need to be done sometime down the road but no more major repairs, we hope!
Friday, we had time to do some of our Shop Kicking starting with a trip to the outlet center where we each received 300 kicks and then a short drive to two more stores for another 125 kicks each, I have over 115,000 and Gary has over 50,000 kicks so far. My goal is 150,000 so I can use them to help pay for a new laptop.
